About Us

The Mount Mercy Math and Computer Science Club is an organization run by students with a common interest in math and technology aimed to enhance our experiences and opportunities at Mt. Mercy. You do not have to be a Math or Computer Science Major to join. All you need is a sincere appreciation for the technological feats of human civilization.

Club Meetings

The Computer Science and Math Club meetings are held at 4pm on the second Wednesday as well as the last Thursday of each month in Donnelly 106. All students are welcome so come join the fun.

President Statement

"The CS Club currently has 15 active members that participate in a number of activities throughout the academic year. We gather monthly to meet and plan campus-wide activities including Pi Day, the High School Math Competition, the Linn County STEM Festival, and club movie nights. As President, I facilitate club involvement in events like the math competition to help build excitement in Computer Science." -Megan Atkin, 2017-18 CS Club President
